Two large scale gym facilities in Moscow, Russia are currently being developed. Global Fitness will be supplying all the cardio and strength equipment for both facilities.
Global Fitness made quite the impression on this Moscow health club owner, “The level of service and quality Global provided was the reason for our choice. Global was chosen from numerous remanufactured equipment warehouses across the USA.
Currently, 2 containers have been shipped to Russia to begin the process. The Grand Opening for the 1st club is scheduled for May 1, 2011. After that, the 2nd gym will be developed with a tentative date of completion sometime in 2012.
Moscow, the capital of Russia, is full of history, an extensive transit network and the most populous city on the continent of Europe and the seventh largest city proper in the world with a population of 10 million according to the most recent census.
Fitness clubs are becoming the latest trend in Russia. Due to the cold winter climate and extreme weather conditions in Moscow, it’s not conducive to workout outdoors. With that said, exercise facilities are getting more elaborate with complete circuits of cardio and strength machines. These new gyms developed in Moscow by Global Fitness will follow in the same pattern.
